Poetry
I sleep to escape reality,
I wake to escape my dreams,
The world is scary,
My dreams unreal,
No where I know is safe.
My dreams aren't sugar coated worlds,
But are odd and scar my mind.
Reality is confusing,
and is making me lose my mind.
Which world do I belong in?
Neither, I hope and pray,
Which world was I created for?
In which world shall I stay...
If it's my choice,
I choose neither.
If it's my choice,
I'll live in my mind.
Not dreams, nor reality,
in my mind.
Where love is alive,
Pain is lessened,
And everything makes sense...
when it's supposed to.
